Corporate Yacht Charters in San Diego

The Right-Sized Venue For Corporate Events

Most corporate yacht charters in San Diego fall into one of two categories — small motor boats that feel cramped above 25 guests, or open-deck catamarans that lack climate-controlled indoor space. At 73 feet, Nerissa is purpose-sized for corporate yacht charters in San Diego that hits the sweet spot: large enough that a team of 30 to 40 has room to mingle, network, and spread across multiple zones, yet intimate enough that the event still feels curated and full of energy. An expansive open-air upper deck is paired with a climate-controlled main salon and lighted quartzite bar — so your event proceeds beautifully whether the weather cooperates or not. Four onboard restrooms mean no lines, even with a full group. The split indoor/outdoor layout means networking conversations can happen comfortably in any San Diego season.

From Executive Dinners to Full Capacity Celebrations

Nerissa scales effortlessly across corporate group sizes:

  • Executive Teams of 6 to 12 – Board dinners, partner retreats, intimate client entertaining.
  • Mid-Sized Teams of 15 to 30 – Quarterly team outings, leadership offsites, client appreciation events.
  • The Sweet Spot of 30 to 40 – Department celebrations, holiday parties, all-hands gatherings, sales kickoffs.
  • Full-Company Events up to 49 – Company anniversaries, milestone celebrations, large client receptions.

How many passengers can the Nerissa take on a charter?2026-06-11T19:48:45-07:00

How many passengers can the Nerissa take on a charter?

Nerissa is a 73-foot motor yacht licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard for up to 49 passengers, plus crew. Unlike many yachts where maximum capacity feels like a tight squeeze, Nerissa is specifically designed to host 49 guests comfortably without feeling crowded.
Guests naturally spread out across multiple distinct areas: the expansive upper sky deck (the heart of most celebrations, with room for a live band or DJ booth and dance floor), the bow lounge with generous seating cushions, the climate-controlled main salon, the bar area with seating and standing room, and the intimate back cockpit. This multi-level, multi-zone layout is what allows full-capacity charters to feel spacious and lively rather than cramped.
For more intimate gatherings, Nerissa is equally suited to smaller groups of 2 to 35 guests, where the yacht offers an even more private, exclusive feel.

How does weather affect our charter?2026-06-11T18:41:19-07:00

How does weather affect our charter?

San Diego is one of the best yacht charter destinations in the country thanks to its consistently mild, sunny weather. With more than 260 days of sunshine each year and a protected harbor that keeps the bay calm even on breezier days, the vast majority of Nerissa charters proceed exactly as scheduled, year-round.

In the rare event of unfavorable conditions, the Captain has full discretion to determine the safest course of action based on current weather and water conditions, as outlined in Clause 7 (Captain’s Authority) of our Terms and Conditions. Safety is always our top priority.

Our weather policy is straightforward:
• If the Captain deems conditions unsafe to board the vessel, you will receive a full refund.
• If the Captain decides the yacht should remain dockside but the event can still proceed with full crew, bar, and catering service onboard, the charter is considered fulfilled and refunds do not apply. Guests still enjoy the full Nerissa experience — just at the dock instead of underway.
For outdoor-focused events, the upper sky deck is open-air, while the main salon and bar area are fully climate-controlled — so guests always have a comfortable indoor option regardless of conditions. This combination of indoor and outdoor space means Nerissa charters remain enjoyable in virtually any San Diego weather.
