Vacation Vs. Staycation Trends
The trend now-a-days seems to be shorter, mini vacations rather than the big extended weeks off of work types. And often times the planning process can be quite stressful when you have to figure out itineraries for weeks at a time. Staycationers are looking for a more budget friendly option as well as finding fun outdoorsy things to do. So, how about a Zolna Yachts staycation right here in San Diego?
Lucky for us, and for many of our customers, we live in San Diego and so stay right here in our own backyard. Consistently sunny weather, with the exception of this crazy past winter, 70 miles of magnificent coastline, all types of ocean activities and basically every outdoors activity known to man are what draw active types and sun seekers alike to San Diego throughout the year. Our amazing Mexican cuisine, thriving nightlife, and incredible animal parks are few of the things keep San Diego on the top of the most popular places to travel.
Therefore, that is why we live here! It’s tough for some of us to get away, believe me I know. Because we are small business owners, it’s very difficult to be able to leave the day to day workload to others. We’ve got a fantastic group of highly skilled and awesome workers, however, there’s always something needing our attention. Does that sound familiar? Got to get away? Staycation here we come.

Here’s what Alan had to say about their vacation on the Hula Kai 2 yacht “Stayed with Zolna Yachts for two weeks on the wonderful “Hula Kai 2”. The yacht was clean, very spacious, and the two staterooms with showers had good water pressure and hot water! The marina, even though close to the airport, was quiet and calm. The facilities (Laundry, shower, and land toilets) were clean and nearby. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely do it again!
